Job offer that asks for fees
“You're hired” without an interview, then a request for a “registration fee”, “insurance” or “training fee” before you start.
Congratulations, you are hired! Pay a 300 SAR training fee to start
- What the scammer wants
- Upfront fees, and sometimes a copy of your ID and bank details.
- What to do
- Real employers don't charge you to hire you. Verify the company through its official website, and don't transfer any money.
If you already paid or shared a code
- Call your bank right away and ask them to block the card or stop the transaction.
- Change your passwords from a safe device, and remove any unknown device linked to your accounts.
- Report it through the Kollona Amn (كلنا أمن) app.
- Don't pay anyone who promises to recover your money for a fee: that's a second scam.
